  <description>Recorded sporadically, not long after the completion of Phylum, Subordinate is the follow up to Phylum, though an EP as it is.&#13;
&#13;
"Spiral of Silence" opens the EP with a lengthy display of atmosphere. The recording is very lo-fi. The main body of the song is proceeded and concluded by the wisdom of Richard Nixon. "Minstrel of Dissolution" was planned to be recorded for Phylum but was never recorded. A few demos exist of this as well as an alternate version of what is on Subordinate Collectivity. The song reaches a climax when heavy reverb laden slide guitar brings the song into a state of chaos. "These Fears (remix)" is a jazz inspired remix completed not long after Phylum was completed.&#13;
