2006.08.07-WeddingChapter11 D. Alex Gray movies opensource_movies The eleventh of twelve chapters of a DVD I produced from footage I took of a wedding in the South East of Turkey. The wedding took place in the town of Batman, where I was invited to stay with my friend's family. I'm very grateful to the Sonmezsoy family for their warm hospitality and letting me film in such intimate settings. The bride and groom appear at the wedding salon, they drive onto the dance floor and everyone cheers as they proceed across the dance floor to their seats. The teenage boys diving for the money being thrown in front of the bride and groom work for the band.
